According to a report by Varlas Nikos, of EuroHoops.net, the Toronto Raptors plan to claim Antetokounmpo.
Playing on a two-way contract, Antetokounmpo appeared in two games last season for the Mavericks, scoring one point. He spent most of his rookie season in the NBA G League with the Texas Legends.
“We are excited for Kostas to pursue other professional opportunities,” Mavericks General Manager Donnie Nelson said in a press release. “Kostas worked very hard to improve his game, and we are proud to have been a step in his development. We wish him all the best.”

In the NBA Summer League this month, Antetokounmpo appeared in five games for the Mavericks, averaging 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game. He shot 39 percent from the field (11 of 28).
Antetokounmpo spent two years at the University of Dayton and played one season for the Flyers. He redshirted in 2016-17. In the 2017-18 season, he averaged 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 29 games.
