Cooke appeared in 13 games with the Pelicans, becoming the first Dayton player recruited by Archie Miller to play in the NBA. He played a total of 38 minutes and scored six points. He spent the majority of the season in the NBA G-League and averaged 12.8 points in 25 games.

The Timberwolves start play at 11 p.m. Friday against the Denver Nuggets. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV. They play the Toronto Raptors at 3 p.m. Sunday (NBA TV) and the Brooklyn Nets at 11 p.m. Monday (ESPNU).

After three preliminary games, the teams will be seeded in a tournament. Every team will play five games overall.
Cooke played two seasons at James Madison, sat out the 2014-15 season after transferring to Dayton and played two seasons with Dayton. He finished his college career in 2017 with 1,570 points (957 with the Flyers).
