Dayton Flyers running back Jake Chisholm will participate in a local pre-draft workout with the Cincinnati Bengals on April 18.

Chisholm finished his college career last fall as UD’s all-time record holder in all-purpose yards (5,063). He ranked second in career touchdowns (47) and third in career rushing yards (3,276).

Last season, Chisholm ran for 1,050 yards and led the Pioneer Football League in scoring (102) and all-purpose yards (1,320). He was a two-time White Allen MVP who earned his degree in pre-med in December.

Chisholm was one of 15 finalists for the National Football Foundation’s Campbell Trophy, the academic Heisman.

“If we made a poster for the kind of football player we want, Jake would be our poster boy,” Dayton coach Rick Chamberlin said in 2021. “We’d have him on a poster that says: ‘These are the type young men we want!’ He really has his stuff together.”
