Former Trotwood-Madison standout signs free agent deal with Broncos

Trotwood-Madison graduate Dallas Daniels is getting an opportunity in the NFL.

Daniels, a wide receiver who played this season at Jackson State University, signed a free-agent deal with the Denver Broncos.

Daniels, 6-foot-1, 180, caught 63 passes for 692 yards and six touchdowns this season. Daniels began his college career in the junior college ranks with Arizona Community College and Northeastern Oklahoma before spending two seasons at Western Illinois.

He was selected to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl in February.

At Trotwood-Madison, Daniels set school records in receiving yards and touchdowns and helped the Rams to a state title in 2017.
