Hall, who is 10th best guard and 26th overall in the HoopGurlz Class of 2021 national rankings, averaged 21.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a junior, leading the Warriors to the Division I district finals. Hall is the top recruit in Ohio for 2021.

She shot 55.5 percent from the field, including 38.8 from 3-point range. She was a second-team, All-Ohio selection.

Hall chose the Gamecocks over Ohio State, N.C. State, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas. She named those seven finalists on May 10.

South Carolina finished the 2020 regular season ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press and the USA Today coaches polls. The NCAA Tournament was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gamecocks, who are coached by Dawn Staley, won the national title in 2017.
