The Harlem Globetrotters are back for their 91st season with a Dayton native on their roster.

Joe Ballard, a Thurgood Marshall graduate, is among six new players set to debut with the Globetrotters when their 2017 world tour tips off later this month.

“Jumpin’ Joe” joins Bria “Swish” Young, Latif “Jet” Rivers, Devan “Beast” Douglas, Briana “Hoops” Green and Antjuan “Clutch” Ball.

The ‘Trotters’ tour begins in Houston on Dec. 26 and includes stops in Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati.
