The biggest development involved Tavien St. Clair, a junior quarterback from Bellefontaine.
A week after Ohio State offered St. Clair, Alabama and LSU followed suit.

The 6-3, 210-pound St. Clair is a four-star prospect ranked No. 14 nationally among quarterbacks by 247Sports, and he has no shortage of great options for the next stage of his football career.
Louisville, Florida, Tennessee and Pitt are also among his 20-plus offers after St. Clair completed 208 of 294 passes for 2,453 yards and 25 touchdowns with four interceptions last season as the Chieftans went 8-3.
St. Clair is two spots behind Findlay’s Ryan Montgomery, who also has an Ohio State offer, in what looks like a very strong year for quarterbacks in the Buckeye State.
Jamison Kitna of Lakota East, who just picked up an offer from Buffalo, is ranked 28th among QBs in the 2025 class while Tyrell Lewis of Wayne is 44th. They are both three-star prospects at this point.
Kitna recently visited Kansas State…
Not to be overlooked, the area’s 2024 class also has at least a pair of Division I FBS prospects.
While Timothy Carpenter Jr. of Trotwood-Madison verbally committed to Indiana last month, Fairfield’s Talon Fisher announced recently he has an offer from Toledo.
Fisher, who is ranked fourth among Ohio quarterbacks behind Lewis Center Olentangy’s Ethan Grunkmeyer, Carpenter and Jacqai Long of Akron Hoban, also has offers from Army, Buffalo, Dartmouth, UMass and Miami (Ohio)…
