Trotwood-Madison announced its program was “on pause” until Sept. 6, and its junior varsity and varsity games this week against Springfield were cancelled. Trotwood-Madison opened the season with an 18-0 loss to Winton Woods and then lost 35-0 to Fairmont.
Springfield is hopeful of finding a new opponent, Athletic Director Mike Dellapina said.
Southeastern (1-1) lost 21-14 at home to Worthington Christian in its opener and then won 30-6 at Ridgemont.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Springfield is looking for a Varsity Football opponent for Friday, September 3. If interested, please contact the Athletic Department. We are willing to host or travel.
