About Wright State: The Raiders are coming off road wins at Miami and Tennessee Tech, the first time they've started 2-0 in opposing gyms since 2012-13. They've never started 3-0 on the road. They were 0-6 in non-league games away from home last season. They won their first four games overall in 2002-03 and 2000-01 for their best starts as a D-I program (since 1987-88). … They're shooting 47 percent from the field with Love (64.9) and Holden (62.5) leading the way. They shot 43.6 percent last season. … The Raiders have settled into a nine-man rotation with grad transfer Jordan Ash, sophomore Skyelar Potter and freshman Trey Calvin the primary perimeter subs and redshirt freshman Grant Basile the top frontcourt reserve. Potter has averaged 9.7 points in 15.3 minutes per game. He's made 8 of 15 three-pointers for 53.3 percent. Everyone else on the team is shooting under 40.0. … Kent State won last year's meeting, 83-76, at home, overcoming a late five-point deficit. Gentry led all scorers with 19.

ABOUT KENT STATE: The Golden Flashes have had to replace first-team All-MAC pick Jaylin Walker, who averaged 21.6 points. After opening with a 97-58 home win over Hiram, they beat Towson State, 84-80, in overtime on the road Monday. Sophomore guard Anthony Roberts, who made the MAC all-freshman team last season, had a career-high 21 points off the bench. He's the team's leading scorer with a 19.5 average. … Kent State was picked third in the MAC East Division in the coaches' preseason poll, one notch above Miami. Wittington made the five-player preseason All-East Division team. … The Flashes are 11-1 in games decided by five points or fewer over the last two seasons.

COMING UP: The Raiders host Division-II Urbana at 7 p.m. Wednesday as part of the Gulf Coast Showcase, an event designed for mid-major programs. They'll play Weber State at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in the first of three games in Estero, Fla.
