“It’s a pretty big deal, but we’ve still got two games to focus on here,” Love said after breaking the record that had stood since 1997. “It’s a credit to all these guys. I mean, they’re boxing out, too.
“A lot of (rebounds) come my way because I’m under there,” Love added. “ I’m there a lot. And offensively, that’s where some of production comes as well. I didn’t get many tonight, but usually that’s what it is.”

Grant Benzinger led the Raiders with nine as WSU won the battle of the boards 36-32.
Another major record was reached with the win, the team's 23rd of the season. That ties the single-season, Division I mark set by the 2006-07 and 2012-13 teams.
