MLB Draft: Wright State pitcher selected by Los Angeles Dodgers

Wright State pitcher Caleb Sampen was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 20th round of the MLB Draft on Wednesday.

Sampen, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound redshirt sophomore, was the 614th overall pick.

Sampen, a Brownsburg, Ind. native, was 5-0 with a 3.26 ERA in 11 appearances (seven starts) this season for the Raiders.

Teammate Ryan Weiss, also a pitcher, was drafted in the fourth round by the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
