Here’s a look at Miami Valley League high school football for Week 10, the end of the regular season.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association will release first-round playoff pairings on Sunday afternoon. The top eight teams in the final computer rankings qualify for the playoffs. Those top four will host first-round games.

MVL Miami title: Troy (7-2, 6-1) has clinched a share of the championship and can win an outright title by beating visiting rival Piqua (5-4, 5-2) in Week 10. Piqua will share the title by beating Troy. If that happens and Greenville (6-3, 5-2) beats visiting Sidney, then Troy, Piqua and Greenville will share a tri-title.

MVL Valley title: This is all Xenia's (8-1, 6-0), regardless of what happens Thursday when the Bucs visit Fairborn. It's the second straight outright conference title for Xenia, which also won a GWOC American South championship last season.

Playoff fact: The 10-team league has teams in D-II, Region 7 (Piqua, Sidney, Troy), D-II, Region 8 (Fairborn, Stebbins, West Carrollton and Xenia) and D-III, Region 12 (Butler, Greenville and Tippecanoe). All these teams jumped from the GWOC to revive a second version of the MVL this season.

Who's in: Troy has clinched but needs to beat Piqua to secure a first-round home game. Xenia also has clinched and will secure the No. 4 spot in Region 8 by beating Fairborn, which would give the Bucs a first-round home game. That's significant, because Xenia has never qualified for the postseason.

Win and in: Piqua's game at Troy essentially is a D-II, Region 7 play-in game for the Indians. Troy would still make it with a loss, but not Piqua.

Bubble team: Greenville must defeat Sidney for a slim shot at cracking the D-III, Region 12 field. At best the Green Wave would be a No. 8 seed, meaning its reward would be at a top seed.

Who's out: Butler (2-7), Fairborn (3-6), Sidney (3-6), Stebbins (2-6), Tippecanoe (3-6) and West Carrollton (2-7).
