The Las Vegas Raiders drafted the fifth-year senior Arnette, a 6-foot, 195-pound cornerback, with the 19th pick.
Earlier, the Cincinnati Bengals drafted LSU quarterback and former Buckeye Joe Burrow with the first pick. The Washington Redskins selected Ohio State junior defensive end Chase Young with the second pick. The Detroit Lions drafted another OSU cornerback, junior Jeff Okudah, with the third pick.
Arnette, who’s from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, graduated from Ohio State in 2019. In four seasons, he recorded 140 tackles and five interceptions. He made 38 starts. Every Ohio State starting cornerback since 2013 has been drafted.
