• Chris Finke: The Alter graduate, who caught 41 passes last season as a fifth-year senior at Notre Dame, signed with the San Francisco 49ers, according to a report by Tom Pelissero, of the NFL Network. The deal includes $95,000 in guaranteed money.

Finke attended the NFL Combine in February and said, "I've never been one of the big-name guys. I've never been one people pay the most attention to. I've had to do a lot of things to get where I am and overcome things like that, and I'm just going to have to do it again."

• Michael Hoecht: The Oakwood graduate, a defensive lineman who led Brown University with four sacks last season, signed with the Los Angeles Rams. He finished his career last fall with 17 sacks, third best in Brown history. He's a native of Canada who grew up in Oakwood.

• Ahmad Wagner: The Wayne graduate, who caught 15 passes last season as a senior at Kentucky, announced on Twitter he signed with the Chicago Bears. Wagner started his college career as a basketball player at Iowa and transferred in 2018 after three seasons to start his football career.
• Eli Wolf: The Minster grad announced on Twitter he signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Wolf played at Tennessee for three seasons before transferring to Georgia. The tight end caught 13 passes last season. He and Finke played in the East-West Shrine Game in January.

There were no reports as of Sunday morning of another local graduate, Wayne’s Robert Landers, signing as an undrafted free agent. Landers was a fifth-year senior defensive tackle at Ohio State last season.
