Jacobs, a class of 2019 recruit, had received offers from Cincinnati, Iowa State, Michigan State, Northwestern and many other schools. He’s a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports.com, and ranks 20th among Ohio recruits in the 2019 class.

Last season at Northmont, Jacobs recorded 67 tackles, forced three fumbles, recovered three fumbles and intercepted a pass. He had 3½ sacks.
