An injury limited the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Glover to five football games last year for the Thunderbolts. He finished the season with 23 tackles as a defensive back but projects as a linebacker at the next level.
By spring he was able to post a an 11.13 in the 100-yard dash, the fifth-fastest time in the GWOC.
Glover committed to Northwestern from a list of more than 20 scholarship offers in April 2022 when he was a three-star prospect ranked No. 15 in Ohio in the class of 2023 per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He ended up a four-star prospect ranked No. 7 in the state, trailing Ohio State signees Malik Hartford of Lakota West, Luke Montgomery of Findlay, Jermaine Mathews Jr. of Cincinnati Winton Woods, Will Smith Jr. of Dublin Coffman and Arvell Reese of Cleveland Glenville as well as Lakota West defensive back Ben Minich, who signed with Notre Dame.
At No. 335 nationally in the 247Sports Composite, he would have been the No. 15 recruit in Ohio State’s 2023 class, which ranked No. 5 in the country but had only one linebacker (Reese).
He is set to join a linebackers room that has eight scholarship players, including three seniors with starting experience, so adding another prospect to the pool became a priority.
Since last December, Ohio State has added nine transfers, including five on defense: Glover, defensive tackle Tywone Malone (Mississippi), cornerback Davison Igbinosun (Mississippi), cornerback Lorenzo Styles Jr. (Notre Dame) and safety Ja’Had Carter (Syracuse).
When Ohio State begins practice Thursday, Glover will become the seventh area scholarship player on the roster, joining fellow freshmen Hartford, fellow linebacker C.J. Hicks (Alter), offensive linemen Tegra Tshabola (Lakota West), Joshua Padilla (Wayne) and Austin Siereveld (Lakota East), cornerback Jyair Brown (Lakota West).
Glover’s announcement came two days after Springfield cornerback Aaron Scott Jr., the top-rated player in Ohio for the class of 2024, verbally committed to Ohio State.
