Ohio State basketball: Cincinnati standout commits to Buckeyes

Princeton shooting guard Bowen Hardman made a verbal commitment Wednesday night to play basketball at Ohio State.

Hardman averaged 11.8 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Vikings (17-8, 10-6 Greater Miami Conference) this past season.

He shot 46.4% from the field including 39.5% from the 3-point line. He was also a 92% free-throw shooter.

Ohio State offered a scholarship in October 2019. He also had scholarship offers that included the University of Cincinnati, Xavier and Ohio University.

Hardman is the first player to verbally commit in Ohio State's 2022 recruiting class.
