He thanked his family, Ohio State offensive line coach Greg Studrawa and other members of the Ohi State coaching and training staffs in his announcement.

A two-year starter, Myers made the All-Big Ten first team, was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy as the best center in the country this season and made The Sporting News All-America second team.
The team captain helped the Buckeyes rush for 256.9 yards per game, best in the Big Ten and No. 8 in the nation.
Myers already has a degree in social work and will begin preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft.
The last Dayton-area player from Ohio State to be drafted was Wayne High School graduate Braxton Miller, who went to the Texans in the third round in 2016.
Earlier in that draft, the Lions chose Taylor Decker of Butler High School in the first round.
Since the turn of the century, 11 Dayton-area players have gone to Ohio State and made it to the NFL Draft: Will Allen (Wayne), Mike Nugent (Centerville), Quinn Pitcock (Piqua), Nick Mangold (Alter), A.J. Hawk (Centerville), Marcus Freeman (Wayne), Austin Spitler (Bellbrook), Kurt Coleman (Northmont), Michael Bennett (Centerville), Miller and Decker.
The last Miamisburg graduate to play in the NFL was David Bruton, a defensive back who went to Notre Dame, played for the Denver Broncos from 2009-15 then spent a season with the Washington Redskins.
According to Pro-Football-Reference.com, five other Miamisburg natives have played in the NFL, all in the 1920s for the Dayton Triangles: John Kauffman, Hobby Kinderdine, Lou Partlow, Walt Kinderdine and Shine Kinderdine.
Partlow, who attended West Carrollton High School, scored the first touchdown in NFL history.
Earlier Friday, All-American cornerback Shaun Wade announced he is entering the draft.
Like Myers, Wade spent four years at OSU but redshirted in 2017.
