Ohio State Buckeyes cornerback Kendall Sheffield hasn’t made an official announcement, but it appears he will leave the program with one season of eligibility remaining to enter the NFL Draft.

An Instagram post by EXOS Sports on Monday listed Sheffield among the participants in a NFL Combine training program. Ohio State fifth-year senior wide receiver Johnnie Dixon is also on the list of 10 players.

Sheffield, who started his career at Blinn College, was a redshirt junior last fall in his second season with the Buckeyes. He had two interceptions and 35 tackles in 14 games.

Players had until Monday to declare their intentions to enter the draft, and the NFL will release a list of those players on Friday.
