Ohio State won at least 13 games for the fourth time. The Buckeyes were also 13-1 last season, and they went 14-1 in 2014. They were 14-0 in 2002.

Ohio State averaged 46.9 points per game, breaking the record of 45.5 set in 2013. Five of the six highest-scoring seasons in school history have come since 2013. The 2014 team averaged 44.8 points per game while the ’18 team scored 42.4 and the ’17 team scored 41.1. The outlier? The 1969 team averaged 42.5 points in just nine games.

Against Clemson, J.K. Dobbins rushed for 100 or more yards for the 19th time in his 42-game career and the 10th time this season. The Fiesta Bowl was the first time Ohio State did not win a game in which Dobbins rushed for 100 yards.
