He walked gingerly off the field and never stopped on his way to the tunnel.
He told reporters after the game someone ran into him on the sideline before he went into the game for the first time and that aggravated an existing situation with one of his knees.

Barrett was replaced by redshirt freshman Dwayne Haskins, who finished the game.
Haskins helped the Buckeyes to the go-ahead score and completed a couple of key passes to keep the chains moving as they held off the Wolverines for their sixth straight win in the series.
Barrett expects to be ready to play in the Big Ten Championship Game against Wisconsin next week.
