The future of Ohio State football appears to be taking shape amid reports of multiple staff changes for the Buckeye offense.

Crimson Quarry, an SBNation blog that covers Indiana sports, reported former Hoosiers head coach Kevin Wilson will become offensive coordinator at Ohio State.

Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports reports Urban Meyer has or will hire Ryan Day as a coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Those reports followed one from HornsDigest indicating Tim Beck has been hired to former Ohio State assistant Tom Herman's staff at Texas.

Beck joined the OSU staff two years ago as quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator following Herman’s departure to become head coach at Houston.

Ohio State confirmed Day’s hiring as quarterbacks coach later in the morning (pending a background check) as well as the departure of Beck.

Day has prior experience with Meyer, having been a graduate assistant at Florida in 2005.

He most recently coached quarterbacks for the San Francisco 49ers last season under Chip Kelly. He held the same position under Kelly with the Eagles prior to that.
