The highly sought-after 6-foot-4 freshman shooting guard tweeted a list of six finalists that includes the University of Dayton.

Also in the final six are Oregon, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Mississippi and Western Kentucky.

Dayton offered McNeil a scholarship in December. The Flyers currently don’t have a scholarship available, but that could change if anyone off the current roster transfers.

McNeil is the top scorer (29.7 points per game) in the National Junior College Athletic Association's Division II ranks. He set a Sinclair single-game record with 55 points against Bryant & Stratton on Nov. 17, 2018.
