Eugenio Suarez gave the Reds the early lead with a two-run home run in the first inning. Suarez hit two home runs Monday and also hit one Sunday. This is the second time this season he has hit home runs in three straight games. He leads the Reds with 20 home runs and 54 RBIs.

The Reds have a habit of taking the lead in the first inning. They lead baseball with 70 runs scored in the inning. They have not scored more than 48 runs in another inning.
The Brewers hit home runs in three straight innings to overcome the 2-0 deficit and take a 4-2 lead. Reds starter Tanner Roark gave up a home run to Christian Yelich in the fourth, a home run to Eric Thames in the fifth and a two-run home run to Mike Moustakas in the sixth.
Yasiel Puig cut the Brewers’ lead in half with a home run in the seventh. It was his 18th home run of the season.
With two outs in the eighth, the Reds tied the game. A double down the right-field line by Joey Votto scored Nick Senzel.
