Players are scheduled to report July 1, and the 60-game regular season will begin July 23 or July 24.
The Reds will play without fans in the stands are are continuing to work with local officials in hopes of fans being able to attend games as soon as possible.
“It just wouldn’t be summer in Cincinnati without Reds baseball,” said Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus in a press release. “While we may not be able to gather at the ballpark, we can still come together as a community to cheer on the Reds.”

"It is time to bring America's pastime back to Cincinnati," said Mayor John Cranley. "Cincinnati needs this to lift our spirits. Let's bring the Reds back to where it all started."
The complex in Mason has two fields: Prasco Park and Legacy Field. There is also a weight room, training room, cafeteria, meeting rooms and multiple clubhouses. The site would be the designated alternate site, and players not on the active roster would work out there. There would be 30 players at Great American Ball Park and 30 at the Mason site. All workouts will be closed to the public.
