Reds prospect named to All-Star Futures Game

Cincinnati Reds prospect Taylor Trammell has been named to the All-Star Futures Game.

The game, featuring the top minor league prospects, is set for Sunday, July 7, at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Trammell, a 6-foot-2, 215 outfielder, is the team’s second-ranked prospect, according to MLB.com. He is hitting .243 with four home runs and 28 RBIs this season at Double-A Chattanooga.

Trammell, a first-round pick in 2016, played the 2017 for the Dayton Dragons.
