Reds take right-handed pitcher with third pick

The Cincinnati Reds drafted a second right-handed pitcher Monday with their third and final pick of the first day of the Major League Baseball draft.

Josiah Gray, a fourth-year junior at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., was the 72nd overall pick.

Gray, of New Rochelle, N.Y., was 11-0 with a 1.25 ERA in 11 starts this season. He struck out 105 batters in 93 1/3 innings.

The draft continues at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
