The Cincinnati Bengals should finally have a new coach — officially — this week.

ESPN reported shortly after the Los Angels Rams lost the Super Bowl 13-3 to the New England Patriots that Zac Taylor will head to Cincinnati on Monday morning to finish a process that started nearly a month ago.

That is when the first reports the Bengals want to hire the Rams quarterbacks coach surfaced.

He will be introduced Tuesday in the Queen City.

Taylor is expected to hire Brian Callahan as his offensive coordinator while his defensive coordinator is still to be determined.

The 35-year-old Taylor Taylor will replace Marvin Lewis, who "mutually parted ways" with the Bengals on Dec. 31 after posting a 131-129-3 record in 16 seasons as Bengals head coach.
