Report: Former Dayton guard to play for Hawks in NBA Summer League

Former Dayton Flyers guard Jordan Sibert will play for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported Monday.

Sibert, Dayton's leading scorer in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, signed a 10-day contract with the Hawks in February and appeared in one game, scoring three points. He became the 21st former Flyer to play in the NBA.

Sibert played two seasons at Ohio State and scored 1,030 points in two seasons at Dayton. He ranks 44th in school history.

The Hawks play their first Summer League game at 5 p.m. Saturday in Las Vegas, Nev.

Three other Flyers will play in the NBA Summer League: Kostas Antetokounmpo and Dyshawn Pierre with the Dallas Mavericks; and Charles Cooke with the Miami Heat.
