Dietrich, 29, hit .265 with a career-high 16 home runs and 45 RBIs in 149 games last season with the Miami Marlins. He started 84 games in left field and 29 at first base. He played parts of six seasons with the Marlins after making his debut in 2013.
Dietrich is from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and played college baseball at Georgia Tech. The Tampa Bay Rays drafted him in the second round in 2010.
