I'd like to thank the @whitesox for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. It has truly been a special 3 years that I won't soon forget!

Eaton, a 2007 Kenton Ridge High School graduate, hit .284 with 14 home runs last season in Chicago. It was his third season with the White Sox and his fifth in the big leagues. He played his first two seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Eaton, 28, played center field for most of his career but moved to right field last season and was a finalist for the Gold Glove.
The White Sox acquired three pitching prospects in the trade: right-handed pitchers Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez and Dane Dunning. They were three of the top-six prospects in the Nationals organization.
