Vitaly Potapenko is joining the Memphis Grizzlies coaching staff, league sources tell ESPN. He leaves Cleveland, where he has worked in player development since 2013.

He had been with the Cavs since 2013 as a member of the player development staff.
He’ll be on the coaching staff at Memphis.

Potapenko was Wright State’s MVP in 1995 and ’96.
The dominating big man known as “The Ukraine Train” was inducted into the school’s athletics hall of fame in 2001.
Three of his 11 NBA seasons as a player were spent with the Cavs.
