Fairlawn started quickly with a 8-0 run. They would hold Jackson Center scoreless until the 11:48 mark in the first quarter. A second quarter push by Jackson Center left them trailing by one at the end of the first half. In the second half, Jackson Center pushed back against Fairlawn’s offense, holding standout Nathan Lessing to nine points.
Trent Platfoot netted 14 points, while teammates Brady Wildermuth added 13 and Bryce Sosby 11 for Jackson Center.
Luke Hickman led Fairlawn with 16 points and Kody Curtner chipped in 11. Lessing’s nine points boosted him to No. 23 all-time in Ohio, finishing out his high school career with 2,223 points.
Jackson Center will meet Tri-Village in a District Final at UD Arena on Friday, March 10.

Fort Recovery 61, New Bremen 39: Micaiah Cox scored 19 points and teammate Matt Bihn had 15 for Fort Recovery. Avery Powers led New Bremen with 13 points.
