In a Greater Western Ohio Conference baseball showdown, Tippecanoe emerged victorious, defeating Sidney 15-2.
Aaron Hughes was the winning pitcher, earning his first win and striking out five batters.
Hughes was also 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a double, while teammate Cade Rogers went 2-for-2 with a double.
Justyn Eichbaum went 2-for-3 and had two RBIs over the course of the game.
Seth Clayton, Zach Losey, Trevor Staggs and Brad Calhoun each registered a double.
The win moves Tippecanoe to 5-2 on the season, 2-0 in conference, while Sidney falls to 1-5 on the season, 0-2 in conference.
Oakwood 4, Bullitt (Ky.) 3: Alec Barhorst threw five scoreless innings for Oakwood. Mark Lauterbach scored the game winning run on a groundout RBI by Jake Kollars.
Oakwood 7, Johnson (Ga.) 6: Cam Dudas was the winning pitcher for Oakwood. Brian Erbe scored on a wild pitch to break the 6-6 tie in favor of Oakwood.
Centerville 10, Wayne 2: Alex Firdson had seven strikeouts for Centerville in their win. Joey Holiga had two doubles and three RBIs for Centerville.
Northeastern 2, Southeastern 0: Earles went 2-for-2 and had ten strikeouts for Southeastern in their loss. Phillips had 13 strikeouts for Northeastern.
Miamisburg 15, West Carrollton 3: West Carrollton was led offensively by Denver Franklin and Josh Knox who had a double and an RBI each.
Tri-County 7, Franklin Monroe 1: Zach Edgin and Bo Henderickson each had two runs for Tri-County. Tanner Booth, Casey Whipp and Clayton Finney each had one run. Tanner Booth was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts.
Newton 10, Miami East 0: Reg Jackson was the winning pitcher for Newton. Gipe went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Lakota East 4, Oak Hills 0: John Sherman was the winning pitcher for Lakota East. Winston Owens went 2-for-3 and Joseph Coonery went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Tri-Village 4, Covington 3: Jonny Wilson was the winning pitcher for Tri-Village with eight strikeouts. Camren Munchel had the winning run for Tri-Village.
Fairfield 6, Springfield 3: Bauman was 3-for-4 with two runs, Sams was 2-for-3 and Ford was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Ryan Bailey was the winning pitcher and Tyler Morgan earned his first save.
Kenton Ridge 4, Bellefontaine 3: Noah Schleinitz was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts. Bailey Armentrout was 3-for-4 with a homerun for Kenton Ridge in their victory.
Indian Lake 15, Greenon 0: Nate Kaffenbarger pitched a shutout to win the game for Indian Lake, striking out five batters in the process. Alex Jacobs and Parker Grothaus each had three RBIs, while Nate Kaffenbarger chipped in two.
Lakota East 10, Fairfield 5: Larson was the winning pitcher for Lakota East with seven strikeouts.
Lebanon 4, Carlisle 3: Perkins was the winning pitcher for Lebanon. Koch and Fritz were both 2-for-3.
Mississinawa Valley 11, National Trail 4: Trent Collins, Cameron Shimp, Max Dirmeyer and Casey Rust each registered two runs in Mississinawa Valley’s victory. Andrew Johns, Ethan Dirksen and Kyler Guillozet each had one run a piece.
Riverside 16, Lima Temple Christian 4: RJ McGowen was the winning pitcher for Riverside, striking out four batters. Tyler Sanford led the team with three runs, while H. Robinson, Trey Lane, H. Kreglow and Trey Long all chipped in two runs each.
New Knoxville 13, Fairlawn 3: Tinnerman was the winning pitcher for New Knoxville. Wright was the losing pitcher for Fairlawn.
Anna 5, New Bremen 2: Wuebker, White, Kauffman, Stiefel and Siegle each had a run for Anna in their win. G. Selby and T. Overman picked up the runs for New Bremen. Roe was the winning pitcher for Anna with six strikeouts.

Franklin 7, Wilmington 3: C. Miller was the winning pitcher for Franklin with two strikeouts. S. Raby went 3-for-4 and T. Johnson went 1-for-1 with a homerun and three RBIs.
Lebanon 19, Springfield 2: Taylor Lewis was the winning pitcher for Lebanon. Madison Hartman went 3-for-3 with three homeruns and seven RBIs, Holly Osbourne went 4-for-4 with one home run, one double and three RBIs and Ashley Riffle went 1-for-2 with one homerun and two RBIs for Lebanon.
Marion Local 10, Fort Loramie 3: S. Fesenmeyer was 2-for-3 with three runs and Maddie Griesdorn was 2-for-3 with a double for Marion Local. Schmitz was the winning pitcher for Marion Local. Abby Holthaus went 2-for-4 while Cassidy Albers went 2-for-3 and Gabriel Olberding had a double for Fort Loramie.
Carroll 11, West Carrollton 7: Madi Mills went 3-for-3 with a walk, two home runs and four RBIs. Makayla Woody had a double and two RBIs on top of pitching six innings and striking out seven batters. Nicole Vandervort and Ashton Tilton registered their first varsity hits.
Covington 8, Tri-Village 1: Makenna Gostomsky and Ashley Cecil each had three hits for Covington. Emma Dammeyer also registered multiple hits for Covington in their victory.
Harrison 10, Ross 5: Kenzie Meyer was the losing pitcher for Ross, striking out four batters. Maddy Foster went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and one stolen base, while Kenzie Meyer went 2-for-3 with two hits and two runs scored in Ross’ losing effort.
Kenton Ridge 4, Bellefontaine 1: Carly Turner was the winning pitcher for Kenton Ridge, striking out 13 batters and allowing only two hits. Jordan Rucker went 2-for-3 with a home run for Kenton Ridge, while Jade Espinosa tacked on a double.
Newton Local 16, Miami East 6: B. Chaney, H. Pack and K. Rappold all chipped in three runs for Newton Local. B. Eads and B. Oburn each had two, while K. Tackett, M. Weaver and B. Deeter each added on one more. A. Francis had three runs for Miami East in the losing effort. P. Lawson, S. Jacomet and F. Robinson each chipped in one more.

Edgewood 4, Northwest 1: Moore, Hamey, Winter (singles) and Reiff/Volle (doubles) all won their sets to lead Edgewood to victory. T. Cao/D. Cao (doubles) had the lone win for Northwest.

Beavercreek 3, Centerville 1: Beavercreek won three matches 25-22, 25-17, 25-23, while Centerville managed to steal one at 25-31. Parker Mikesch had 14 kills, three aces and 25 digs for Beavercreek, while teammate Noah Buell chipped in 30 assists and three blocks.
Middletown 3, Miamisburg 0: Dylan Burchfield had six kills, Blake Middleton had 22 digs and Nate Hall that three aces and seven assists for Miamisburg in their loss.
