REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

Anna 40, Purcell Marian 39: Ella Doseck sank a pair of foul shots with 1.4 seconds to play to help Anna win its first regional title since 2013. Lauren Barhorst led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds and Doseck finished with nine points, all coming from the charity stripe.

Fort Loramie 50, Cin. Country Day 34: Undefeated Fort Loramie scored the final 11 points to secure a ticket to the state tournament. Marissa Meiring and Ava Sholtis led the way with 10 points apiece.

Minster 65, Wayne Trace 30: Defending Division IV state champion Minster will head back to Columbus for a third consecutive season.

Boys Basketball

DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

Anna 69, National Trail 54: Kamren Steward tallied 19 points and Isaac Lininger added 16 for Anna in the district final. Zach Woodall paced National Trail with 22 points and Cameron Harrison tacked on 16.

Boys Wrestling

DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

Division I at Fairmont: Springboro edged out LaSalle to win the tournament. Beavercreek finished third, Lebanon fourth and Centerville fifth. Jake Kowalski paced ‘Boro with a win in the championship round. Gavin Bell had a championship win for Beavercreek along with Colton Quantz for Lebanon and Damion Ryan for Centerville.

Division II at Wilmington: Graham had six first place champions to lead the way to victory. Nolan Gessler, Nick Hart, Chris Kelly, Nick Moore, Alek Martin and Nolan Neves all won in the championship round for Graham. London finished third, Clinton-Massie fourth and Chaminade Julienne fifth.

Division III at Troy: Troy Christian won the tournament with Legacy Christian finishing second, Mechanicsburg fourth and Ben Logan fifth. Ethan Turner and Andrew Shaffer each had first place wins to lead Troy Christian.

Boys Bowling

STATE TOURNAMENT

Division I: A pair of area teams met in the championship match where Sidney defeated Centerville to win a state title on Friday night. Kaden Abbott paced Sidney with a 702 series, the third highest in the tournament. Ben French of Vandalia was second with a 705 series and Ian Dobran was fourth for Centerville with a 699.

STATE TOURNAMENT

Division I: Gahanna Lincoln beat out Fairborn in the championship match. Springfield finished third and Troy fifth. Ashley Falke of Springfield rolled the top series of the tournament with a 641. Natalie Hanson of Fairborn bowled a 613 and Destiny Oty of Springfield 612. Troy’s Kylie Schiml had a 589.
