Newton, led by medalist Chet Jamison at 78, won the Turtle Creek sectional. The Tri-County North, Northeastern and Arcanum teams also advanced. Bobby Peyton (Emmanuel Christian), Gage Hileman (Tri-Village), Clark Miller (Dixie) and Jack Bramel (Catholic Central) qualified individually.
In the final sectional at Beechwood, Fort Loramie, Botkins, Jackson Center and Lehman Catholic all qualified. Cole Gilardi of Lehman Catholic earned medalist honors at 74 and Jack Shoemaker (Mechanicsburg), Willie Bowman (Twin Valley South), Drew Sherman (Russia) and Cole Pond (Triad) qualified individually.
Boys Golf
FireBolt Cup: Northmont took home the FBC Trophy for the first time in eight seasons, winning 6.5-3.5 against Fairmont in the annual competition.
Girls Golf
Division II Sectional at Celina: Lima CC, Wayne Trace and St. Henry each qualified to advance as a team, with Ellen Naumann finishing third overall for St. Henry at 78. Sarah Parker of New Bremen and Taylor Homan of Minster qualified individually.

Alter 2, McNicholas 2: Dominic Ruffolo assisted Joel Bockelman on Alter’s first goal then Ruffolo netted the second.
Beavercreek 3, Wayne 0: Phillip Wynn scored a pair of goals and Hunter Jackson added the third for ‘Creek.
Carroll 9, Badin 0: Armando Campos-Ortiz and Will Moddeman each scored twice to help Carroll improve to 11-0.
Dixie 4, Madison 2: Nick Emrick and Matthew Atkins pushed across the first goals of their careers for Dixie.
Northmont 3, Lebanon 0: Justin Combs and Brandon Morton tallied the goals for Northmont.

Anna 14, Franklin-Monroe 0: Kelsey McKinney, Taylor Noll and Taylor Kauffmann punched in three goals apiece to pace Anna.
Coldwater 9, Paulding 0: Ava Giere accounted for three goals and Erin Schritz added two more to carry Coldwater.
Oakwood 1, Bellbrook 0: Riley Beam drove in the lone goal on a first-half PK and keeper Katie Hapgood secured the shutout for Oakwood.

Eaton 3, Valley View 0: Ava Miller recorded 10 kills, Maley Tinstman added 23 assists and Annika Gels 14 digs to lead Eaton.
Fort Loramie 3, Houston 0: Maya Maurer tallied 17 assists with seven digs and Ava Sholtis added nine kills with 10 digs to lead Loramie.
Greenville 3, Fairborn 0: Shelby Herman led the way with 19 digs and three aces, Josi Worden added seven kills with three aces and Madilyn Francis and Abbie Yoder each had a pair of blocks for Greenville.
Jonathan Alder 3, Urbana 0: Maddy Johnson posted six kills and Taylor Adams eight assists in a losing effort for Urbana.
Mechanicsburg 3, Catholic Central 0: Emma Dunham put up 16 kills with six blocks, Elly Schipfer added 11 kills with five blocks and Mally Blakeman tacked on 21 digs for ‘Burg.
Tecumseh 3, Northwestern 0: Tecumseh won by scores of 25-16, 25-7 and 25-21.
Tippecanoe 3, West Carrollton 0: Rachel Wildermuth paced Tipp with 11 kills and three blocks, and Corinn Siefring tacked on 10 digs.
Tri-County North 3, National Trail 1: Madison Hathaway had 20 digs and Lexi Stiner and Tristan Bowers each added two blocks in a losing effort for Trail.
Tri-Village 3, Mississinawa Valley 1: Sidnie Hunt had 15 kills with 10 assists and Riley Price added four kills with 17 digs in a losing effort for Mississinawa.
West Jefferson 3, Cedarville 1: Abigail Sheridan posted 18 kills with 15 digs, Luisa Christian added nine kills and Elly Coe 37 assists for Cedarville in a losing effort.
West Liberty-Salem 3, Madison Plains 1: Kaylee Harrison had 16 kills with 13 digs and three blocks to pace WLS. Alex Burton added 12 kills, Hallie Strapp 15 digs and Breann Koons 34 assists.
Cross Country
Miller’s Backyard Invitational: North Union won the boys event and Tecumseh took first for the girls. Triad, which hosted the event, was paced by Eli O’Brien.
