CJ, ranked No. 4 in the state and playing in head coach Joe Staley’s final home game, rallied from a 16-point deficit to send the game into overtime. Milton Gage and Brandon Gibson scored 12 points apiece for CJ.
Carroll wrapped up the regular season with a 12-10 mark and will face Sidney on Saturday, 8 p.m., at Butler High School to start sectional play.
Chaminade Julienne fell to 18-4 and will play Eaton on Saturday, 4 p.m., at Trent Arena in a sectional opener.

Beavercreek 59, Fairmont 57: Chris Herbort totaled 13 points, Brayden Walther added 11 and Yousef Saleh 10 to lead ‘Creek to a win on senior night. Ryan Hall paced Fairmont with 20 points.
Brookville 68, Valley View 61: Wade Turner netted 25 points, Jacob Gudorf added 22 points with 10 assists and Brookville secured a Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern championship.
Butler 67, Tippecanoe 60: Butler secured an outright Greater Western Ohio Conference North title with the victory and completed a 20-win regular season.
Catholic Central 49, Southeastern 48: Sabien Doolittle scored his 1,000th career point in the win for Catholic Central.
Coldwater 52, Marion Local 42: Marcus Bruns put up 27 points for Coldwater. Nathan Bruns countered with 22 points to lead Marion Local.
Delphos St. John’s 42, Versailles 33: Lucas Metcalfe paced DSJ with 17 points. Michael Stammen and Evan Hiestand combined for 30 points for Versailles.
Emmanuel Christian 60, Dayton Christian 34: Adonis Davis finished with 16 points and Jason Channels 14 for Emmanuel Christian. Anton Webb chipped in 20 points for Dayton Christian.
Fairborn 63, Xenia 52: Shaunn Monroe had 22 points, Otis Person 16 and Tylen Eatmon 10 to lead Fairborn. Samari Curtis led Xenia with 22 points.
Fort Recovery 58, New Bremen 55: Payton Jutte scored 23 points, Grant Knapke chipped in 12 and Fort Recovery rallied with a 12-point swing in the final quarter. Bryce Blickle netted 19 points for New Bremen.
Franklin Monroe 65, National Trail 60: Ethan Conley exploded for 33 points for Franklin Monroe. Cameron Harrison scored 21 points to lead National Trail.
Greeneview 44, Cedarville 42: Cole Allen led Greeneview with 14 points. Colby Cross had 15 points for Cedarville.
Legacy Christian 67, Miami Valley 48: Keano Hammerstrom tallied 15 points, Erik Uszynski added 13 and Legacy Christian posted a school record with 19 wins in the regular season.
Mississinawa Valley 55, Miami East 29: Trent Collins netted 16 points, D.J. Howell 11 and Cody Dirksen 10 to lead Mississinawa.
Miamisburg 70, Northmont 58: Drew Barry put up 19 points, Corey Hartman 17 and Brett Hensley 15 for Miamisburg, which clinched a Greater Western Ohio Conference West championship for the second straight season.
Milton-Union 51, Dixie 47: Aaran Stone scored 17 points and Sam Case 13 to lead the way for Milton-Union.
Mechanicsburg 52, West Liberty-Salem 38: Chris Taylor turned in 18 points with nine rebounds, Tristan Hall hauled in 10 rebounds and ‘Burg held WLS to 13 points in the second half to earn the win.
Northridge 60, Preble Shawnee 51: Twon Hines finished with 20 points and Charles Drewery added 16 points with 15 rebounds Northridge, which took control with a 20-0 run to start the second half. Bryce Singleton chipped in 15 points for Preble Shawnee.
Oakwood 76, Franklin 56: Darren Rubin’s 24 points and Jack Armstrong’s 17 helped carry Oakwood to victory.
Russia 60, Houston 38: Jordan York scored 19 points and Daniel Kearns 14 in a game where Russia’s seniors accounted for 56 of their 60 points.
Sidney 75, Greenville 36: Andre Gordon scored 15 of his 23 points in the first half to pace Sidney. Lathan Jones added 19 points and Josiah Hudgins 10. Noah Walker had 13 points for Greenville.
Springboro 67, Lebanon 60: Willieon Yates totaled 21 points and Garett Powell tacked on 17 for ‘Boro, which pulled ahead in the final quarter. Zach Huffman poured in 29 points for Lebanon.
St. Henry 54, Minster 52: Zach and Caden Niekamp tallied 11 points apiece to help St. Henry hold off an upset scare from Minster. Jarod Schulze paced Minster with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Troy 66, Piqua 57: Austin Stanaford led the way with 18 points, Caleb Fogarty added 15 and Caillou Monroe 11 for Troy. Trey Richmond led Piqua with 13 points.
Troy Christian 62, Middletown Christian 49: Tyler Jackson recorded 16 points and Jackson Kremer 13 for Troy Christian. Alan Holtrey led Middletown Christian with 15 points.
Twin Valley South 54, Arcanum 45: Cade Cottingim and Willie Bowman led the way with 14 points apiece and TVS took home an outright Cross County Conference title with the win.
West Jefferson 64, Triad 44: Ben Casey paced West Jeff with 14 points. Bryan Bundy led Triad at 11 points.
