Butler 6, Mason 5: Cam Miller struck out five in a winning performance on the mound and Quinton Hall got the final two outs for the save along with driving in a pair of runs to help Butler advance to the regional tournament. Mike Masters, Zach Fults and Karter Peck added one RBI apiece for Butler.

Coldwater 11, Fort Recovery 1: Austin Riethman launched three home runs, driving in six runs on the day to lead Coldwater in a district semifinal. Coldwater will face Liberty Benton on Saturday at Elida in the district championship.

Mechanicsburg 9, Seven Hills 5: ‘Burg scored five unanswered runs to end the game, taking home a baseball district championship for the first time since 1965.

Ross 1, Kenton Ridge 0: Zach Ungerman singled in Keegan Nickolson in the bottom of the seventh for Ross in a walk-off district final win. Trevor House tossed a complete-game shutout with 12 strikeouts. Collin Perkins took the tough-luck loss for KR.

Springboro 9, West Clermont 5: ‘Boro captured its first district championship at the Division I level and the first for the program since 2002. Logan Walters doubled in a run, Josh Collins added a two-run single and Tyler Kean picked up the win on the mound.

Versailles 13, Dayton Christian 11: Versailles plated four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull ahead in a district final that was suspended from Wednesday.

Central Buckeye Conference All-League Teams: Calvin Dibert of Kenton Ridge and Ben Van Noord of Northwestern were tabbed as players of the year for their respective divisions. Teammates Matt Tateman and Garrett Kelly joined Dibert on the first team for the Kenton Trail division and Gavin Thomas of Northwestern made first team in the Mad River.

Beavercreek 3, Miamisburg 0: ‘Creek improved to 19-5 and advanced to a regional final vs. Fairmont.

Fenwick 3, Chaminade Julienne 2: Andrew Barnes posted 20 kills, A.J. Murray 39 assists and Kyle Peters 12 digs in a losing effort for CJ.
