Troy quarterback Brayden Siler connected with Josh Mayfield on a 20-yard TD pass for the winning score.

Early in the fourth quarter Troy’s Kevin Walters scrambled in for a one-yard touchdown run, his third rushing score of the night, giving Troy a 21-15 lead.

Belmont answered quickly when Rian Reaves scored on his second TD run to tie the game.

After a missed Troy field goal with 26 seconds to play the game went into overtime, where Troy struck first.
