Ryan Day’s Ohio State football staff makes public debut together

Just an expression of gratitude — and invitation to the spring game.

“On behalf of our staff I really want to say talk you to Buckeye Nation for all your support,” Day said. “One of the things that was amazing to me this season, we go to play TCU in Dallas, we go to Indianapolis for the Big Ten championship game, we go to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, and we come out of that locker room and we see the scarlet and we feel Buckeye Nation and we see Buckeye Nation and it’s unbelievable.

“Your support and loyalty means everything to us. That’s why our team gets up at 6 a.m. for mat drills on Wednesday. That’s why we go to work and that’s why we want to make you guys proud, so thank you.”

The Buckeyes are set to begin spring practice the first week of March.

The spring game will be April 13 at Ohio Stadium, a Saturday that should provide Ohio State fans their first chance to see Georgia transfer quarterback Justin Fields and a handful of highly-rated true freshmen early enrollees in a Buckeye uniform.
