D-IV sectional baseball top seeds, pairings

The high school baseball sectional tournaments begin Monday, May 7.

The higher seeds host first-round and semifinal games. Sectional finals are at predetermined locations. Those winners advance to district finals on Friday, May 18 for Divisions III and IV and Saturday, May 19 for Divisions I and II. Those times and locations are TBA. All games are at 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The following are the top three D-IV sectional baseball seeds and bracket pairings.

Division IV, Dayton 1 & 2: 1. Newton, 2. Tri-County North, 3. Tri-Village.

D-IV, Dayton 3 & 4: 1. Russia, 2. Fort Loramie, 3. Lehman Catholic.

• Dayton 1 first round, Mon., May 7: Catholic Central at Southeastern; Emmanuel Christian at Middletown Christian.

Semifinals, Wed., May 9: Catholic Central/Southeastern winner at Newton; Emmanuel Christian/Middletown Christian winner at Franklin Monroe.

Final, Wed., May 16: at Duke Park, Troy.

Dayton 2 first round, Mon., May 7: Cedarville at Legacy Christian.

Semifinals, Wed., May 9: Yellow Springs at Tri-Village; Cedarville/Legacy Christian winner at Tri-County North.

Final, Wed., May 16: at Covington.
