Dyshawn Pierre, who played for the Flyers from 2012-15, and Kostas Antetokounmpo, who left UD after one season on the court in 2017-18, will start play with the Mavericks in the Summer League on July 5. They will also participate in a three-day minicamp in Dallas starting Monday.
Another former Flyer, Charles Cooke, will play with the Miami Heat’s Summer League team in Sacramento, Calif., and Las Vegas. His first game will be Monday.

Pierre played with the Indiana Pacers in the Orlando Summer League in 2016. His pro career has taken him to Germany and Italy.
In May, Pierre played against former UD teammate Devin Oliver in the Europe Cup championship. Pierre’s team, Dinamo Sassari (Italy) beat Oliver’s S. Oliver Wurzburg (Germany) 81-79 in the final game.

Pierre is also a member of the Dayton alumni team playing in The Basketball Tournament in July.
Antetokounmpo played 11 minutes in two games last season for the Mavericks, scoring two points. He was the 60th and final player selected in the 2018 draft. He spent most of his rookie season in the NBA G League with the Texas Legends, averaging 10.6 points in 40 games.
Cooke averaged 14.4 points per game last season in 40 games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G League. Cooke appeared in 13 games with the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2017-18 season. He played with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Summer League the last two seasons.
