Trey Landers excited to return for 2021 edition of The Basketball Tournament

Trey Landers will be part of the Dayton Flyers alumni team in the next edition of The Basketball Tournament this summer.

The UD and Wayne High School grad confirmed his intentions Sunday to suit up for the Red Scare.

“I’m very excited to get back out there with my guys, very glad to have fans back in the arena,” he said in a video posted to Instagram.

As previously announced, Landers and fellow former Flyers Devin Oliver, Ryan Mikesell, Kyle Davis and Kendall Pollard have also committed to play for the Red Scare, which is set to begin the tournament in Columbus on July 23-27.

The University of Dayton Arena will host the final four and championship games July 31-Aug. 3.

ESPN will broadcast those games, and the winner will get $1 million.
