Former Dayton Flyers guards Jalen Crutcher and Ibi Watson did not hear their names called during the NBA Draft on Thursday but signed as undrafted free agents Friday.

Crutcher signed with the NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks, while Watson signed with the Atlanta Hawks.

Both players are expected to play in the NBA Summer League, which will be held from Aug. 8-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. All 30 NBA teams will play five games.

Crutcher became the eighth player in Dayton Flyers history to win three team MVP awards last season. He finished his career in March with 1,593 points. He ranks 16th in UD history in scoring.

Watson played his first two seasons at Michigan and averaged 12.5 points in two seasons at Dayton.

Crutcher and Watson both started for the 29-2 team in 2019-20, and they combined to average 33.3 points last season for a team that finished 14-10.
