The Dayton Flyers got everything they wanted out of an exhibition game Saturday against Cedarville University — mainly a victory but also production from all 10 available players one week before the season starts for real against Indiana State.

Michigan transfer Ibi Watson, one of four players making their first appearance at UD Arena, led Dayton with 17 points in a 93-60 victory over the Yellow Jackets, a NCAA Division II program from Greene County.

Chattanooga transfer Rodney Chatman and Moulaye Sissoko, the team's only freshman, each scored 12. Obi Toppin scored 10 points and dunked in the third minute of the game.

Jalen Crutcher, Ryan Mikesell, Dwayne Cohill, Trey Landers and Florida transfer Chase Johnson each scored eight. Jhery Matos was the only scholarship player who didn't score, though he had four assists.

Dayton shot 54.4 percent from the field, made 10 of 24 3-pointers (41.7 percent) and committed only eight turnovers. Branden Maughmer led Cedarville with 13 points.

FIRST-HALF RECAP: Two newcomers started. Chatman and Johnson joined three returning starters in the lineup: Crutcher, Toppin and Mikesell.

Watson led the Flyers with 13 points in the first half. He made 3 of 4 3-pointers as Dayton built a 46-33 halftime lead.

Chatman, Toppin and Mikesell each scored six points. Toppin had two dunks.
