Parker, a 6-foot-4 guard, entered the transfer portal on March 25 one week after his season with Appalachian State ended with a loss to Norfolk State in the First Four. He averaged 1.7 points in 16.6 minutes per game, appearing in 21 games. He saw three minutes of action in the NCAA tournament game.
Parker spent one season at Appalachian State after playing two seasons at James Madison. He averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 assists and started all 30 games as a sophomore.

Parker has two seasons of eligibility remaining because the 2020-21 season did not count against anyone’s eligibility.
At Cleveland State, Parker will be a teammate of Trotwood-Madison graduate Torrey Patton, who announced April 30 he will return to Cleveland State for a fifth season in college basketball.
