Dayton (13-3, 4-0) won its seventh straight game and remained alone in first place in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Whalen made 8 of 17 shots from the field, including 4 of 11 3-pointers. She has scored 20 or more points two games in a row, three times in A-10 play and five times this season.»

Tenin Magassa also had a big game for the second time in the last three games. She had 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and added nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. She scored a career-high 18 points a week earlier in a 65-57 victory at La Salle.
