News Talk Radio WHIO (95.7FM/AM1290) announced Friday that the station will air all regular season Cleveland Browns football games beginning with the 2013 home opener against the Miami Dolphins this Sunday.

Cox Media Group Ohio’s vice president of marketing Nick Roberts said the station is delighted to bring Browns coverage back to the Dayton area. "Cleveland Browns fans are some of the league’s most loyal and we are thrilled to bring the full schedule of games to the orange and brown faithful throughout the Miami Valley. We look forward to a long relationship with the Browns organization and to many more years of their games on WHIO-FM/AM."

Sunday’s Browns vs. Dolphins game in Cleveland starts at 1:00 p.m. Play-by-play is provided by the legendary Jim Donovan, game analysis by Browns great Doug Dieken and field reporting by Jamir Howerton. WHIO-FM/AM will also air Cleveland Browns Network pre-game and post-game programming immediately before and after each game.

The announcement comes just prior to a new NFL season beginning with no Dayton area radio coverage of the Browns.

"This is great news," said Roberts. "Dayton has a lot of avid Browns fans, and it hasn't always been easy to see all the games. We're pleased that WHIO-FM/AM radio was able to make it happen so Browns backers can always listen to the games even if they can’t always watch them."
