Winker, Castellanos hitless in All-Star Game as NL loses again

Reds start second half on Friday against Brewers

Nick Castellanos and Jesse Winker combined to go 0-for-3 with a walk in the first All-Star Game appearances Tuesday.

The Cincinnati Reds teammates were part of a starting lineup that produced three hits and one run — a home run by catcher J.T. Realmuto, of the Philadelphia Phillies, in the fifth inning — at Coors Field in Denver. The American League, which has won eight straight All-Star Games and 15 of the last 18, won 5-2.
