About Wright State: The Raiders, who have won 12 of their last 13 games, were held under 70 points for the first time this season in a 65-61 win at Milwaukee on Friday. They went into the game 10th nationally in scoring with an 81.5 average. But they held Milwaukee to 16 points below their season average. … They prevailed, 90-84, in first meeting with Green Bay at the Nutter Center, but they trailed, 67-62, with seven minutes to go. Love had 22 points and 16 rebounds, while Gentry had 21 points and Wampler 20. … Love is averaging 10.1 rebounds, second in the Horizon League to IUPUI's Elyjah Goss (11.6). The Geneva, Ill., native is up to 803 career rebounds and trails only Bill Edwards (1989-93) at 907 and Sean Hammonds (1989-94) at 828 on the Raiders' all-time list. His career rebound average of 9.1 is on pace to break the school record. Rondey Robinson (1987-89) is first at 8.7 per game.
About Green Bay: The Phoenix are coming off a 72-61 home loss to Northern Kentucky, which was finally at full strength with the return of all-league candidate Dantez Walton, who had 15 points and 10 rebounds. … Davis, the former Trotwood-Madison star, had a team-high 14 points while snagging seven rebounds. He's been named the Horizon League freshman of the week six times. He's the first Green Bay player to win it multiple times. He's shooting 50.7 percent from the field (second in the conference). He had a team-high 18 points in the first meeting with the Raiders … The Phoenix shot just 30.3% in the second half and 36.8 overall in the NKU defeat. It dropped a 98-94 overtime decision at Youngstown State in its previous outing, which ended a three-game winning streak. … Green Bay is the highest-scoring team in the league at 81.0 points per game (just ahead of Wright State's 80.8 average) but is giving up a league-high 80.3 points per game.
